About the module: Stakeholder management refers to the parties who have the power and influence to determine whether a project succeeds or fails. These are the individuals and groups whose goals must be met because they have the power to make or break the project.

Purpose of the module: Be able to identify key stakeholders who will be affected by the activities and/or who can influence them. Develop a thorough understanding of the most important stakeholders so that you can predict how they will react and how you can gain their support.

Rational of the module: Identification of stakeholders is important not only for determining who the businesss stakeholders are, but also for determining the best way or ways to manage their expectations. Every stakeholder wants or expects something from the business or its business practices.
