About the module: Management control focuses on managers of organisation sub-units, and thus on line managers accountable for the performance of their departments. Management control is about management function that aids in the detection of errors and the implementation of corrective actions. This is done to reduce deviation from standards and ensure that the organisations stated goals are met in the desired manner.

Purpose of the module: Be able to manage and control business activities to improve overall business operations efficiency when using controls management processes.

Rational of the module: Management and Control addresses issues related to business risk identification and mitigation, how the management and control can contribute to business sustainability, socio-economy, and the linkages between sustainable management and control and opportunities for the development of innovative strategies. It not only assists delegate in focusing on the specific steps required for their management and control strategies to succeed, but it also assists them in achieving short-term and long-term business goals.
