Understanding of an entrepreneurial profile Module

About the module: This module is suitable for those individuals who are required to identify and develop within themselves, the personal characteristics of an entrepreneur that ensure the successful operation of a new venture. The unit standard also introduces the delegate to the economic, administrative and behavioural (psycho-social) barriers that contribute to the success in starting and sustaining an enterprise.

Purpose of the module: Be able to understand the entrepreneurship requirement - the ability to be innovative and creative, to identify opportunities, and to identify strengths and weaknesses.

Rational of the module: Entrepreneurial profile is a learning activity that helps students understand what it means to be entrepreneurial and how entrepreneurial qualities can help them achieve their goals.

The above mentioned module is one of seven modules in the skills programme titled: How to build a learning organisation . How to build a learning organisation - is one of ten skill programmes available in our Entrepreneurship Master Programme .

Skills programme - How to build a learning organisation

The purpose of the skills programme: Invest in training to maximise profit. The purpose of the programme is to assist delegates develop the skills needed to design and develop learning interventions, as well as to facilitate skill development. Throughout the program, delegates will identify the skills gaps in their projects and create, fund, and facilitate skill plans to help them meet their business objectives.  Upon successfully completing the programme, delegates should be able to demonstrate knowledge, application, and comprehension of training and learning development strategies that will assist them in achieving short-term and long-term business goals.
