Evaluate learning and development interventions Module

About the module: The module is about evaluation of learning programmes or courses, whether internally or externally.

Purpose of the module: Be able to plan, prepare, and complete an evaluation of a learning intervention to determine the effectiveness of the learning and whether performance and business objectives were met.

Rational of the module: Evaluation is the systematic process of gathering and analysing data and other objective information to determine the quality, value and effectiveness of a learning intervention within the context of the organisational setting with the specific aim of initiating certain actions.

The above mentioned module is one of seven modules in the skills programme titled: How to build a learning organisation . How to build a learning organisation - is one of ten skill programmes available in our Entrepreneurship Master Programme .

Skills programme - How to build a learning organisation

The purpose of the skills programme: Invest in training to maximise profit. The purpose of the programme is to assist delegates develop the skills needed to design and develop learning interventions, as well as to facilitate skill development. Throughout the program, delegates will identify the skills gaps in their projects and create, fund, and facilitate skill plans to help them meet their business objectives.  Upon successfully completing the programme, delegates should be able to demonstrate knowledge, application, and comprehension of training and learning development strategies that will assist them in achieving short-term and long-term business goals.
