For funders
See small businesses in South Africa that have agreed to be seen by funders, with their business plans and a check of the documents funders ask for.
You do not need a business profile. A funder account goes straight to its deal flow.
What you see
- Only businesses that agreed to be seen. A business appears only after its owner has said yes, and the platform records when they said it. If they withdraw, they are gone from your list.
- A check of the documents funders ask for — CIPC registration, a tax clearance, CSD registration, B-BBEE and years of financial statements — with each item weighted by the mandates of the funders on our list. The platform checks what the business has entered and uploaded; it does not look anything up at CIPC or SARS.
- Checked against your deal size, and against whether you fund businesses that have not started trading.
- Their business plan, made from the answers they gave.
- A deal flow you can narrow by sector and by province.
What the platform shows is a check of documents and figures, not a funding decision. Yours is the decision.
How to get a funder account
Funders do not sign themselves up. RMK sets up every funder account by hand, so that businesses know who is looking at them. Email RMK at businessplan@superdealmaker.com and include:
- the name of your organisation and its registration number;
- the name, role, email address and phone number of the person who will use the account;
- the smallest and largest amount you fund;
- the sectors and provinces you fund;
- the stage of business you fund (starting, or already trading);
- your website, so a business can see who you are.
We reply by email when the account is ready.
