Learning organisation
Building a business that learns - training your people, keeping what they know, and not starting from scratch every time somebody leaves.
What you get at the end
How it helps your business
What learning organisation does for you
Every role, what it must be able to do, and what your people can do today.
Which training exists, who pays for it, and what the SETA needs from you.
A skills matrix, so knowledge stays when someone leaves.
What changed, what it cost and what came back.
How it works
Your learning organisation project, in four steps
Learn
7 short lessons, each with a video and a quiz.
Start your project
We set up a project plan for you: 15 activities, starting with “Define build a learning organisation project objectives” and “Define learning organisation project stakeholders”.
Do the work step by step
Work through them one at a time, such as “Execute building a learning organisation project scope”, “Manage building a learning organisation project team” and “Make building a learning organisation project changes”, and watch your progress. You, your apprentice or your consultant can do it.
Get your reports
A status report as you go. The last activities, such as “Building a learning organisation project checklist” and “Solicit building a learning organisation project feedback”, lead to a final report you accept. RMK also approves it where a consultant did the work.

The report you get
Your learning organisation final report
Who it is for: You and your team; a funder or SETA that asks.
- Where the work got to. Whether your skills plan was achieved.
- The work. The skills audit, the training chosen and the skills matrix, activity by activity.
- Still outstanding. Any training or claim not yet done.
- Who worked on this. You, your apprentice or your consultant.
- Sign-off. Your acceptance, and RMK's approval where a consultant did the work.
Along the way you also get a status report: the three stages, anything past its date, and every activity in order.

Can someone do it with me?
